I did not enter Harry in EV and did not take a lot of shots like I did last week. A lot had to do with the angle and having already been up for 12+ hours. This is not my best work, shots from last weeks EV are much better. I am so a fan of the cloudy day as long as there is no rain.

]]>The event took a break and LT Barnhill did a demo with his working dog SGT Ace. A volunteer went in the pool wearing a bite arm and taunted the K9 officer despite his warnings. SGT Ace showed there is no where to go if you are being pursued.

]]>I found one more set of pics I had not uploaded yet. I had a house guest and I could not take the time I usually do the night after an event. They are gone and I can stay up as late as I want so here is the last set, these are my favorite and there are only a few of actually jumping dogs. If one of them helps out Tom next year it is all worth it.

]]>The top 6 dogs competed in the pro division, a mixed breed dog took down the big jumping dogs with a 26'4" jump.

We went to compete, I figured out this is our fourth event competing with a dog against the like of Yeager and we will see him likely at Regionals as well as join him at the World Championships as an invitee.

We needed a break so there is not a lot of the final wave then we decided to try out hand at taking shots of dogs catching frisbies, a new demo event this year, then went back to video the SR finals and then shoot the Pro and Semi-Pro Finals. Huge crowds, biggest yet, kept one from getting in one spot, I refuse to park myself along the side of the pool and assume a role that does not exist. Due to having to switch to manual judging one side of the pool was off limits.

]]>This was our fifth year in a row at this event, we got some rain on Saturday that let up right before EV, there are no shots of EV as we were in it. My videographer, Nancy, got video of Harry making his grab. There are not a lot of shots because we are a competitor and not parking ourselves along the side of the pool for the whole weekend. Remember we do this because we enjoy doing it and possibly getting the shot and also to raise funds for Chase Away K9 Cancer.

]]>Hog Dog Productions is the Dockdogs Sanctioned Facility serving the Metro DC area, they have two events this season, the first being in June. This is a practice and then at the end its a new intro to Dockdiving class specifically for new dogs, it is four classes and we hope to see these dogs at the June event as competitors.

]]>This is the inaugural Sanctioned Facility event at Shipps Corner. Dogs from 7 different states were represented in the finals. Due to the shadows ofrmin the photes were adjusted. This is the second to late wave of the weekend, full wave as all on Saturday were. The rain threat did not keep the people away. The crowds were built up so much after speed retrieve I would have been rude to assume I could just take a spot at the end of the pool so I shot in a spot where no one could get in the way.
